I believe in producing one grade of portrait…..making it the best that it can be. This ethic was instilled into me by my father, a Master of Photography, Photographic Craftsman and proprietor of a studio and camera shop for over 40 years. Growing up in his southeast Kansas business, I learned sound business practices and acquired the knowledge and skill to nurture my ability to create unique photographic images.

I have been gifted with my father's eye, and the creative ability to capture the world through the lens. I believe the skills of a photographic artist are not so much learned as they are a gift; and from this my inspiration is derived.

I strive to take an extra step to ensure every client's investment is rewarded with my finest work, but the most important ingredient in my portraiture is human emotion. If someone can view an image I have created, and in it feel an emotional connection, then I have succeeded in my endeavor. Time stands still for no man, but we can preserve precious moments and memories for a lifetime of reflection. I can think of no other occupation as satisfying to the soul.
